Terms of Service

Last updated: 26th August 2026

1. Who we are

QuoteLatch is operated by LeftHandLabs Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17268958 , with its registered office at 82 Kenwood Road, Stretford, Manchester, England, M32 8PT ("QuoteLatch", "we", "us"). These Terms govern your use of the QuoteLatch website and application (the "Service").

2. What QuoteLatch is

QuoteLatch lets UK trades and freelancers ("you", "your business") create and send quotes to their own clients, collect deposits and invoice payments, and automatically convert accepted quotes into invoices. You are responsible for the accuracy of the quotes, invoices, and client information you enter.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account, including actions taken by team members you invite.

4. Subscription and billing

New businesses may create up to 5 quotes free of charge. Beyond that, continued use requires an active subscription at £5.99/month or £59.99/year (prices may change with reasonable notice). Subscriptions are billed in advance via Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your billing settings. Cancellations and refund requests require a 30-day notice period. This means that upon requesting a cancellation, your account will remain active and billable for 30 days from the date of the request. Any refunds issued (which can be requested via support@quotelatch.co.uk) will be pro-rated to reflect this 30-day notice period.

5. Payments between you and your clients

Deposit and invoice payments your clients make are processed by Stripe directly into your own connected Stripe account. QuoteLatch is not a party to those payments, does not hold your funds, and is not responsible for chargebacks, refunds, or disputes relating to them - those are between you, your client, and Stripe, subject to Stripe's own terms. You are responsible for your own tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations in relation to payments you receive.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use QuoteLatch to send fraudulent quotes or invoices, to store or process client data you are not lawfully entitled to hold, or to attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the Service.

7. Your data and your clients' data

You enter and are responsible for your clients' personal data (names, emails, addresses) within QuoteLatch. In relation to that data, you act as the data controller and QuoteLatch acts as a data processor on your behalf. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle data. Our data processing obligations are set out in our Data Processing Agreement , which is incorporated by reference and forms part of these Terms.

8. Service availability

We aim to keep QuoteLatch available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or restrict access for maintenance, to protect the Service, or where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.

9. Limitation of liability

Except for liability arising from fraud or wilful misconduct, QuoteLatch’s total liability to you, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, shall not exceed the amount paid by your business under these Terms in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Ending your account

You may stop using QuoteLatch and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms. On termination, we will retain your data only as long as necessary as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will let you know of material changes (e.g. by email or an in-app notice) before they take effect.

12. Governing law

QuoteLatch is a business-to-business (B2B) service. By using QuoteLatch, you confirm that you are acting in a business capacity and that consumer protection legislation does not apply to this agreement. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from them.
